Volunteer with Us

Join the Team

We often hear from our Wellbeing Volunteers about what making a difference can do to boost their own wellbeing as well as that of people they are helping. We have a range of volunteer opportunities to suit your needs, whether you love having a chat, providing practical support or just helping a neighbour. Any time you have to spare us would be truly appreciated to bring a smile to a face, or a spring to a step again.

Would you like to become a Wellbeing Buddy?

A Wellbeing Buddy is a volunteer telephone befriender who is matched with someone who might have been recently discharged from hospital or given support in the community. They will carry out short weekly wellbeing calls to help combat loneliness and isolation. Download more information by clicking the button below.

Would you like to become a Wellbeing Connector?

A Wellbeing Connector is a volunteer who will help to run our information stations. These stations will help us to spread the word about voluntary and community organisations that can help individuals to live well at home. Download more information by clicking the button below.

Interested? How to Apply:

  1. Download the application form and equal opportunities form by clicking the buttons below
  2. Fill out and send to [email protected]
  3. Our Volunteer Co-ordinator will be in touch within one week

If you would like to have a discussion about any volunteering opportunities within the Wellbeing Collaborative, please contact our Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Abi Squires by emailing - [email protected]
