Supporting essential public health messaging.

Ensuring people know what’s happening, what they need to do and where they can get support is key to preventing, identifying and controlling local outbreaks of coronavirus.

We have been commissioned by Public Health Dorset to work in partnership with Dorset Community Action (DCA) to support the development of Trusted Voices in the community to help us better engage with the broad range of communities across the county.

We’ve been developing a network of Trusted Voices Champions who work with us to share messages with their communities as well as feeding back to us what support and advice their communities need. Our Trusted Voice Champions include established community leaders, workplace leaders including, of course, many in the voluntary sector and individuals who represent their family, friends and community.

By becoming a Trusted Voice Champion you can help us reach as many people as possible in our communities and ensure we hear genuine and accurate messages about what support is needed to aid recovery from the pandemic.
