Would you like to support a project that aims to help vulnerable women by building their confidence and self-worth through 1:1 support and training? We have an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to achieving just that. If successful, you’ll be one of the support workers working for the Water Lily Project

About you

As one of our support workers you will be able to work autonomously and have very clear boundaries. You will have excellent listening skills, a kind and friendly disposition, patience and a genuine desire to help others. This can be an emotionally demanding role and requires evidence of resilience and the ability to stay positive and upbeat even when things are difficult. You will be non-judgemental and work collaboratively with the beneficiary to help them back to independent living. Often dealing with sensitive issues, you will be considerate and discreet.

What we can offer in return

In return we offer full training and the knowledge that you’ll be making a positive difference to women in need, your salary will be £10 per hour on a service delivery contract. In return we provide full training in safeguarding, DASH and additional upskilling as required. You will be provided with a mobile phone and laptop while working for us.

Job Type: Part-time on a Service Provider Contract

Hours: 7.5 hours a week – Thursday only
