  1. About us
  2. Prejudice-free communities

Prejudice-free communities

Our vision is for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to be places where strong, healthy, diverse and vibrant communities flourish.

In living our values, we commit to celebrating diversity – valuing people from all different cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities for the uniqueness that makes everyone an important part of the community. We also promote equality of opportunity – understanding that some people may face additional barriers and take steps to remove them. We acknowledge that many people with protected characteristics face discrimination and we will continue to do all we can to challenge this.

We pledge to fight racism and ‘Spread the Love’ – we are implementing our pledges and commit to making this a long term priority for CAN.

You can read our Equality and Diversity Policy to see how we are doing this within CAN. For further information about resources and organisations that could help you please click here.

Here is a short video of our vice chair Martin talking about PFC and what it means to him and CAN.
