Working alongside the CEO, Board of Trustees, Admin Team, Counsellors and Supervisors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the service. 

Salary: £15/ hour

Location: Combination of Home and On-Site Working (to be agreed).

Key responsibilities

1. Line Management: the Operations manager is responsible for the line management of the admin team including appraisals, overseeing development needs and ensuring that all staff deliver services safely and effectively in line with Relate Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch policies and procedures.

2. Service & Policy development: working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Supervisors, the Operation Manager will identify opportunities for developing services to support relationships, families and individuals. The Operations Manager is responsible for the development of policies, protocols, guidelines and strategies within the service.

3. Performance & Monitoring: the OM is responsible for monitoring and reviewing key performance indicators; support the centre to meet our charitable objectives, monitor outcomes measures, and ensure compliance with commissioned service specifications. Generate bi-monthly reports and present to the Board of Trustees.

4. GDPR: Ensure the centre’s operations are compliant with GDPR and Relate policies; keep confidential records of all cases secure.

6. Meetings: the OM will attend multi-agency meetings as necessary and maintain links with partners, stakeholders, other agencies and organisations.

7. Policy Development: the OM will work with the CEO to develop policies, protocols, guidelines and strategies within the service.

9. Other Responsibilities: the OM is expected to take on other appropriate responsibilities. This might include liaison with key partners; attending internal and external meetings; preparing and delivering presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders; carrying out administrative tasks necessary to the role; participating in own training and personal development.
