The Community Action Network (CAN) team checked in with 135 local voluntary and community groups to find out how they've been coping during the coronavirus crisis, as part of our latest conversational survey.

We contacted them all by phone to offer our support, as well as signposting to other services and funding opportunities.

Worryingly, over half told us they are concerned their organisation won’t survive, although many also shared stories of wonderful initiatives and community activities that have evolved from the pandemic. We will be working with organisations over the coming months to support them as they develop longer term plans and look ahead to the future.
