CAN are excited to launch their first Virtual Volunteer Fair, bringing together people interested in helping their community with local charities and community groups needing volunteers.

If you’re a regular volunteer or thinking about stepping up to help your community and want to find out more, without any pressure or obligation, CAN has over 20 local organisations looking for someone just like you!

This year we are going virtual to keep everyone safe, with Zoom sessions split into areas of interest, from volunteering with children and young people to conservation and support roles, plus much more. Attend as many sessions as you like to get a feel for the right role for you. Each session lasts about an hour.

Karen Loftus Chief Executive of CAN said “Throughout the pandemic many people have stepped up to help their local community. It would be great to see this momentum continuing. Our Volunteer Fair enables people to hear from a wide variety of different organisations who need their help, whether it is just for an hour or two or longer-term”
