Call to action – ensure the voice of the VCS is heard Our new VCS Involvement Partners sit on statutory boards and ensure the voice of the voluntary and community sector is heard…your voice! We have been working alongside BCP Council and other statutory partners to reinstate a MACE (Multi-Agency Child Exploitation) Panel. The MACE considers the needs of individual children and groups of children who are identified as being at risk of all forms of child exploitation, across the continuum of need. It is important that there is a VCS Involvement Partner sitting on the panel providing the VCS with a voice. We would like to hear from individuals working with children and young people in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole who have a role in safeguarding children at risk of exploitation. Meetings will take place online fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon and will be called the MET (missing, exploited and trafficked) Panel. If you would like to be considered for the role, please complete the nomination form (found on our membership zone) and return to Emma Lee, Partnerships Manager before Monday 6th February 2023.
