Location: Hybrid working home and office base (Beech House, Poole)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: £12,972.97 (£24,000 pro rata) 

Contract length: Permanent

Would you like to help us champion and celebrate the work of Dorset’s voluntary and community sector?  Do you want to see organisations from across all sectors working together to benefit our communities?  

We’re looking for an enthusiastic ‘people person’ to join our team to help to promote our full and affiliate membership, launch our business supporter membership and support our existing members make best use of the benefits the membership gives them. 

Not only this but you’ll be joining CAN at an exciting time as we look to further increase our reach across Dorset and into the business community.  We want to connect communities by helping to create conditions where everyone’s voice is valued and heard by facilitating great local networking and communication.  

Enabling us to truly be representative, engaging and collaborative. 

About you  

You’ll have an understanding about the role of the voluntary and community sector and passion for the work the sector does for our communities.  

You’ll enjoy engaging and networking with a range of VCS organisations, big and small and want to promote, celebrate and champion the work that they do with the ability to promote and sell our membership to ensure we are representative of our community and can be truly collaborative in our approach.
