Looking for Help?

There really is something to offer everyone in our local communities, and we know the value and benefit that connecting to others can bring to our health and happiness.

We also understand that taking those first steps may be daunting for you, so we aim to make finding and connecting to what is available quicker and easier.

What we offer

Our experienced, friendly team can offer you a warm welcome, someone to listen, understand what's important, and then provide you with a variety of tailored local options for you to explore. This could be by yourself, with your family, friends or carers, or perhaps with one of our fantastic Wellbeing Volunteers.

You, or someone you know, may have been:

  • Unwell and need a little help to get out and about again.
  • Wanting to make new friends, or just have a chat and a cuppa.
  • Need some practical help and support around the house.
  • Wanting to try something new.

Where to Find Us

Our Information Stations are available in libraries and hospitals, and we will also be popping up in various locations across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Please look out for our posters and signs, and next time you are passing by, drop in and see what's on offer.

What's Next

In 2023, we are working in partnership to develop new ways for people to connect to professional, trusted information advice and support. Look out for our new service finder which will help you find information quickly, safely and from where you wish to access it.

Our project is proudly sponsored by BCP Council and NHS Dorset
