• SALARY: This role is on a salary scale of £27,218 to £30,187 per annum for working full-time 37 hours per week, where incremental points are awarded annually upon length of service. This is pro-rata £22,068 to £24,476 per annum for working part-time 30 hours per week.

You will be playing a vital role in ensuring the views and experiences of people living in Wiltshire regarding health and social care issues are captured and listened to.


  • Taking the lead role in the recruitment, support and management of volunteers
  • Working as a team to identify opportunities and ways of engaging local people
  • Identifying, planning, organising, coordinating and participating in a number of events throughout Wiltshire
  • Actively seeking out innovative ways to support local people to express their views and share their experiences
  • Gathering data on each event for the purpose of reporting and performance management.
  • Capturing, coding and accurately recording views, experiences and volunteer information
  • Effectively and efficiently dealing with correspondence, calls and record keeping

    The role is mostly home working, however there will be a requirement to travel to our Head Office in Christchurch, Dorset on occasion for meetings as well as possible travel to other areas of Dorset.

    To work from home, the successful candidate must ensure they have the correct workstation set up in line with the guidance set out by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and an assessment will be carried out to verify the workstation set up.

    The nature of the job will require travel in the post holder’s car for which expenses will be paid as set by the Trustee Management Board.

    An enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) police record check in relation to vulnerable adults (previously known as CRB check) is required for this role.
