Our Volunteer Coordinators meetings provide a place where you can learn about and discuss key topics that will impact on you and how you manage your volunteers. There is also the opportunity to share good practice and experiences, ask questions and network with colleagues from other organisations.

Our next meeting is in person on 15th June at Beech House, Poole from 10am to 12pm. In this meeting, there will be lots of group discussions and activities focusing on:

  • Recruitment of volunteers
  • Rewarding volunteers / appreciation
  • Keeping volunteers engaged

We will also be looking at the policies and procedures involved in volunteer management, so if you have them in place, please bring with you:

  • Your volunteer handbook
  • Your volunteer agreement
  • Your problem-solving procedure.

These can be rough, polished, 2 pages or 10 pages long but you must be happy sharing them with the other Volunteer Coordinators.
