This session will be led by experienced HR expert, Sonia Wilson from Populo HR. Sonia is an experienced HR professional specialising in supporting small charities and social enterprises with their people issues. Sonia has over 30 years’ experience of HR management in the charity/social enterprise, research, higher education and local government sectors. In addition, Sonia has served as a charity trustee, advisory board member of a large social enterprise and volunteer mediator.

For the last ten years, Sonia has run Populo, a social enterprise (www.populo.org.uk), to help small charities and social enterprises to better manage their people - improving confidence and peace of mind and allowing these organisations to make a greater impact for good in their communities. She has supported over 350 small charities and social enterprises.

Sonia is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of People and Development and the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
