Lots of planning has gone into the community street party that we have organised for the local community of Westbourne.  This momentous occasion in the history of our Monarch is one to be celebrated here in Westbourne and we will be joining people from all over the country and the Commonwealth who will also be celebrating our Queen's Platinum Jubilee over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

People from many different groups, ages and abilities that make up the local community have already been invited to this Westbourne Rotary event and there are many more events all over the UK organised by many different groups taking place all over the jubilee weekend, with beacons lit, street parties, parades and pageants, but with many especially focussed on the London and Windsor area.

Our Westbourne community Jubilee street party involved getting permission from BCP council to close Landseer Road for the event on the afternoon of Sunday 5th June to give us the space to host up to 350 invitees to an afternoon tea, with traditional music and singing and time to chat and remember events during the decades of the Queen's reign.

This is a free, not for profit event, organised by Westbourne Rotary for the community with assistance from Lollipops Cafe and support from our business partners - especially Harvest Fine Foods - and event sponsors, but maximum numbers for catering are limited and tickets will therefore be required to gain entry to street party area on the day.

If you live or work in the Westbourne area, you can now contact us regarding individual bookings for this event. Just fill in contact form on our website with your request - telling us what your connection is with Westbourne - and our club secretary will respond regarding availability and issue of e-tickets for the event.

Community Group Bookings:
E-tickets for previously confirmed group bookings will be sent direct to group organisers/leaders shortly.
