There are a wide range of grant making Charitable Trusts and Corporate Foundations, which offer funds ranging from small grants to significant, large grants. According to the Directory of Social Change, there are over 8000 charitable grant making trusts, giving £4.9 billion annually to charitable organisations.

Giving by family and personal foundations grew by 0.9%, while corporate foundation giving increased by 12.5% in 2020. Giving by the Top 50 corporate foundations reached £230 million in 2018/2019, a growth of 12.5% Association of Charitable Foundations

A significant number of these trusts and foundations have specific charitable objectives and priorities for how they spend their funds, so it is critical to do your research before applying.
