The voluntary and community sector plays a huge role locally in improving people’s lives and are well placed to understand and work with communities to empower positive change and it can be difficult to keep track of all the work that is happening across the sector.

We want to give you an opportunity to hear about all the great work by bringing the sector together through our networks.

We have some already well established and others that are in their infancy but we envisage them all to grow and develop over time with the number of networks expanding to meet the needs of our members and the communities we work with.

At our networks you are able to share the work you are doing, discuss potential collaborations, share funding opportunities, discuss good practice, offer peer support, and look at how you could come together to empower community led change.

Our networks have evolved from conversations with our members about their need and we have several Networks both thematically and geographical focused. These include:

  • All Creatures Great & Small
  • Boscombe
  • Community Spaces
  • Early Years (0-5 years)
  • Poole Communities
  • Southbourne, Pokesdown and Christchurch
  • Supporting Women and Girls
  • Lets Connect

Over the coming months we will be developing these pages enabling us to better share some of the conversations that take place, the organisations involved and some of the successes.

We are keen to hear from you, our members, about the type of networks you would like and the information you would like us to share.
